Ora is a sculptural table clock that reflects on time, fate, and the human desire to shape destiny.

Recalling the divinatory bowls used by oracles in Ancient Greece, the clock becomes both an instrument and a ritual object. Its hands are replaced by three magnetised spheres, detached from the central mechanism and gliding across the reflective metal surface with an invisible yet relentless precision.

The project evokes the tension between inevitability and control. While fate may once have been understood as an inescapable course of events, self-awareness brings with it the possibility — and the burden — of governing our own time. In an almost impossible gesture, the spheres can be lifted from the surface, momentarily suggesting the suspension of time itself.

Ora was presented during the 2016 Milan Design Week, as part of the exhibition "I Dream of Luxury" from Geneva-based NOV Gallery at the renowned Spazio Rossana Orlandi.
