UNIT-4 is the first product from the studio’s ongoing collaboration with Danish technology and music company AIAIAI. The world’s first professional wireless studio monitors, UNIT-4 follows AIAIAI’s commitment to enabling free music creation anywhere. Combining ultra-low-latency wireless audio with over 20 hours of battery playback, UNIT-4 unlocks new possibilities for music creators, whether in the studio or on the go.

Designed for the future, UNIT-4 extends AIAIAI’s modular design philosophy beyond sustainability toward full circularity. Designed from the inside out without glue, it can be fully disassembled using only two screwdrivers, allowing individual components to be replaced or upgraded — including batteries, driver units, and wireless electronics. Its housing and main components are produced from 100% post-consumer recycled plastics.

UNIT-4 brings reference monitor performance and studio-quality sound anywhere. It delivers accurate, trustworthy audio on the go, supported by all-day battery life, a robust yet lightweight build, and the option to play while connected to the power adapter. A dedicated user interface provides clear, unobtrusive visual feedback while creating, with a custom LED ring on the front to indicate battery status, volume, and connectivity.

Designed for portability, UNIT-4’s rear bass vent optimizes airflow while doubling as a handle, making it easy to carry wherever you go. Its engineering ensures high-quality sound within a compact form, while a magnetic steel grille provides sturdy protection for the woofer and tweeter.

Alongside UNIT-4’s industrial design, we also curated the campaign art direction, including product imagery and animation, creating a holistic communication around the launch.
